Terms of Service

Venture Cortex is an AI-powered business intelligence platform that runs structured debate sessions using a council of five frontier AI models: Claude Opus 4.7 (Anthropic), GPT-5.5 (OpenAI), Gemini 3.1 Pro (Google), Grok 4.3 (xAI), and Kimi K2.6 (Moonshot AI). These sessions analyze your business ideas, generate structured proposals, and surface insights to support your decision-making.

The Service is intended for informational and research purposes only. AI-generated output is not professional legal, financial, or business advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on content produced by the Service.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and using the Service.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to the Service beyond documented APIs.
• Not share your account credentials with third parties.
• Not attempt to access other users' data.

Your data: You retain full ownership of all venture data, business ideas, and content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service.

Our platform: We own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the platform software, design, algorithms, prompts, and aggregated non-identifiable insights. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our platform IP to you.

AI-generated content: Content generated by the AI council during your sessions is provided to you for your use, subject to these Terms and the applicable policies of the underlying AI providers.

To provide the Service, your venture data is transmitted to third-party AI providers for analysis. These providers are:

• Anthropic (Claude Opus 4.7)
• OpenAI (GPT-5.5)
• Google (Gemini 3.1 Pro)
• xAI (Grok 4.3)
• Moonshot AI (Kimi K2.6)

We require that these providers do not use your data for training their models. However, you should review each provider's data processing policies independently. Do not submit data that is confidential, proprietary to a third party, or subject to legal restrictions on sharing.

Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a monthly or annual subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current price.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• Free access: Where offered, starter access without a card expires unless you choose a paid plan. Any offer that requires payment details discloses renewal terms before checkout.
• Price changes:We will provide at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices.

The Service is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Venture Cortex and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@venturecortex.com or through your account settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Venture Cortex operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
